Why Being “Weird” Is Actually Good for Your Business
I was scared because I was afraid of what others, especially the people who think they know me, would say. It felt like being judged, like someone would finally call me out on not being “enough” or “normal.”
When you go deeper, it’s a deep-rooted fear that most of us carry.
In the past, if you were weird or an outsider, it could literally cost your life.
You would be abandoned, and alone you couldn’t survive. Safety meant being in a group and being accepted.
But at the same time, you can only be truly successful by telling your truth, by being visible, and—yes—by being “weird” for many people.
In business, that “weirdness” is often what attracts your right people: the ones who resonate with your message, your vibe, and your way of doing things.

Comfort Zones Are The Hidden Blockers Of Business Growth
Growing, scaling, and following your inner guidance always mean getting out of your comfort zone, especially as a business owner.
You fail publicly.
You’re “weird” publicly.
That’s why faceless channels are popping up everywhere. They feel safe and invisible, but they will never create real success or real fulfillment.
For me, one of my biggest fears was creating videos, especially talking on camera.
Here’s how I overcame my fear of talking on camera:
It felt like standing on a stage while everyone could see not only my face, but also my thoughts, my pauses, and my “weirdness.”
In the beginning, that was absolutely terrifying.
Growing a business is not only about building something you’ve never done before. It’s also about growing yourself: learning to listen to your intuition and your gut, even if, and that’s for sure, it’s uncomfortable as hell.
That discomfort is not a sign that you’re doing it wrong.
It’s a sign that you’re moving from “safe in the background” into visibility, impact, and true business growth.
If you want a clearer path, my Clarity Audit + Flow Plan can help.

How Listening To Your Intuition Is A Necessary Advantage In Business
Intuition is often dismissed as “soft” or “woo” in business. But in my experience, the people who succeed long-term are the ones willing to trust their inner compass, even when the outside data, the “experts,” or the “everyone-else-is-doing-it” part of their mind says otherwise.
Your intuition doesn’t always feel comfortable, but it’s usually correct when it nudges you toward visibility, authenticity, and doing things that feel “weird” to some people.
That’s where your unique value lives. When you suppress it out of fear, you shrink not only yourself but also your business and your potential impact.
How My Book “Soul-Led” Helps You Move Through This Fear
If you’re reading this and feeling a deep “yes,” you’re not alone.
This is exactly the kind of tension I work with in my coaching and that I explore in my book Soul-Led: How to Follow Your Inner Compass to an Incredibly Fulfilled and Happy Life.
Part 1: The Struggles is where I dive deep into the fears you’re feeling right now:
– “Dealing with shadow work—what might happen” (p. 22)
– “Dealing with trauma” (p. 37)
– “Dealing with negative emotions and feelings” (p. 45)
Then Part 3: Learn to listen to soul shows you how to move forward:
– “Learn to listen to your soul” (p. 147)
– “Following your soul’s path” (p. 157)
You can think of this post as a gentle doorway into those chapters.
If what you’re reading here resonates, the book offers you practical tools to work through the fear and step into your soul-led business.
